Communications chief quits UEFA

LONDON, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Mike Lee, UEFA's director of communications, is leaving his job with European soccer's governing body to join the London 2012 Olympic bid.

Barbara Cassani, chairman of the London bid, announced on that Lee was joining as director of communications.

'Mike's understanding and experience of the media, government and sport at local, national and international levels made him a natural choice for this role,' Cassani said in a statement.
