Victory sees Celtic overtake Rangers

GLASGOW, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Celtic struck three times in 23 second-half minutes to beat Motherwell 3-0 and make a stylish return to the top of the Scottish premier league on Saturday.

Terry Butcher's young Motherwell side fought gamely to hold the Glasgow giants at halftime but were helpless as goals from Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton and a Shaun Maloney free kick gave Celtic victory.
