Man United opens tour Tuesday

BEAVERTON, Ore. -- The world's mightiest sports franchise is paying a visit to Oregon this week.

Manchester United will be working out at Nike headquarters in Beaverton this week as the soccer team embarks on a four-game preseason tour of the United States. Practices start Sunday.

But don't expect to see soccer superstar David Beckham -- or his wife Victoria, formerly Posh Spice of the Spice Girls pop group -- hanging out in Beaverton. He recently left Manchester United ...
