Perryman: I don't want Exeter job

Steve Perryman has ruled himself out of the reckoning to succeed Gary Peters as Exeter manager.

The former Spurs captain is in temporary charge at St James' Park after Peters' resignation.

And Perryman enjoyed a successful spell in Japan as boss of Grampus Eight.

But the former Oxford manager, who was also at Exeter in an advisory capacity during Noel Blake's reign, hopes to play a part in choosing the relegated Grecians' next boss.
