Canada withdraws bid to host group games

NEW YORK -- The United States expects to find out Monday whether it will host the Women's World Cup again, and the front-runner for the event is more than prepared if chosen.

``We're ready to hit the ground running,'' U.S. Soccer Federation president Bob Contiguglia said Friday.
