Raul leaves hospital to watch game

Raul will be able to watch Real Madrid's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester United from home after being given the green light to leave hospital on Wednesday.

Raul underwent emergency surgery after suffering acute appendicitis on Monday, ruling him out of Wednesday's second leg at Old Trafford.

He was kept in on Monday and Tuesday night but was released on Wednesday to begin a recovery that is expected to last around a month.
