Rovers keeper Miller forced to retire

Blackburn goalkeeper Alan Miller has been forced to retire on medical advice.

The 33-year-old has been struggling with a back injury for several months and decided to end his playing days rather than face an operation.

Miller, who started his career with Arsenal, played for Middlesbrough and West Brom before joining Blackburn three years ago.
