SARS fears force game delays

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Asian soccer authorities scrapped two Olympic qualifiers and were considering postponing others Friday because of the SARS flu outbreak.

The Asian Football Confederation postponed home-and-away qualifiers for the 2004 Athens Olympics between Hong Kong and Sri Lanka, and Taiwan against Singapore, citing concern over the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome outbreak.
