Freshman dies from injuries suffered in car crash

LUBBOCK, Texas -- Members of the Texas Tech soccer program were struggling Wednesday to deal with the news that Allison Horn, their 19-year-old teammate, had died.

Horn died about 8 a.m. Wednesday from injuries she suffered in a car accident Friday in Bedford, a city near Fort Worth.

``Everyone's real upset and emotional,'' assistant soccer coach Jamie Woods said. ``A lot of people are crying. It's tough.''
