Tie sets up showdown with China

VILA REAL SANTO ANTONIO, Portugal -- The U.S. women's soccer team was held to a 1-1 tie by Sweden on Tuesday, but advanced to the Algarve Cup final against defending champion China.

The United States won Group A, ahead of Olympic champion Norway. The Americans enter Thursday's title game with a 1-0-2 record in the 12-team tournament.
