Cruz Azul refuse to accept sackings

MEXICO CITY, March 13 (Reuters) - Players at struggling Cruz Azul are refusing to accept a move by the Mexican club's directors to sack them en masse before re-hiring them on performance-based contracts.

'No player is going to sign this contract recision,' Uruguay striker Sebastian Abreu told reporters. 'We're trying to find the best solution with the directors.'
