BELEM, Brazil, March 11 (Reuters) - Libertadores Cup debutants Paysandu handed Chile's Universidad Catolica their third successive defeat in the competition, coming from behind to win their group two game 3-1 on Tuesday.

The result kept the Brazilian outsiders -- who are based in the soccer backwater of Belem near the mouth of the Amazon river -- top of the group with seven points from three games. Catolica are bottom.
