Garber to get new MLS deal

Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber has agreed in principle to a long-term contract extension with the league, sources close to Garber told The Washington Post on Tuesday.

The league's board of governors is expected to approve the deal after all the minor details are worked out at meetings in Kansas City, Mo., on Jan. 18-19 following the league draft.
