Arnold set to quit Mariners for Asian job

Three weeks after being overlooked for the Socceroos' job, Graham Arnold is on the verge of quitting Central Coast Mariners to coach in Asia.

Arnold will this week meet officials from a "successful top-flight side", the Mariners said on Wednesday.

The club, believed to be in Japan's J-League, has pitched to win the services of Arnold, who led the Mariners to the A-League title last season.
