Police bust Australian match-fixing ring

Australian Police have busted a match fixing syndicate operating in the semi-professional Victorian Premier League, with ten people arrested in relation to the investigation.

Victoria Police made the arrests on Sunday, with nine players and the coach of the Southern Stars club facing charges under the Crimes Act for a string of illegal betting activity.
