Victorian police in soccer fixing arrests

Victorian Police say they have smashed a multi-million dollar match-fixing ring involving the Victorian Premier League soccer competition.

Police have arrested 10 people after executing search warrants across Melbourne.

Police said the operation had been underway since August, following information from the Football Federation of Australia.

It is believed the players and staff involved are all affiliated with the one sporting club.
