Torino 'keeper banned in fixing probe

Torino goalkeeper Jean-Francois Gillet has been banned for three years and seven months as the Italian investigation into match-fixing continues.

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) said Gillet, 34, was one of 20 people to be punished for either violating the rules or failing to report attempts to fix two games involving Bari in 2008 and 2009.

The charges relate to Bari's matches against Treviso, on May 11 2008, and Salernitana, a little over a year later.
