Lotto winner makes Odd investment

A lottery winner has invested 2.5 million krone (£280,000) to secure a 25% stake in Norway defender Fredrik Semb Berge to keep him at local club Odd Grenland.

Yngvar Borgersen, having won over 102 million Norwegian krone (£11 million) a month ago, has made the investment to allow his local side to retain Berge, although he will receive a quarter of the proceeds should the player eventually be sold.
