Newell's Old Boys have progressed to the Copa Libertadores semi-finals after an epic penalty shootout victory over Argentinian rivals Boca Juniors.

Newell's sealed a 10-9 win on penalties after both legs finished goalless. Boca had the best opportunity to score in the 56th minute, but Nicolas Blandi's header hit the post after a Juan-Roman Riquelme cross.
