New plan increases player scrutiny

English football players could be about to come under increasing scrutiny with The Telegraph reporting a new retrospective action scheme is about to be launched.

A meeting of a number of stakeholders in the game, including the Football Association, Premier League, Football League, Professional Footballers' Association, League Managers Association and Professional Game Match Officials Ltd, led to the agreement to expand retrospective action to include certain incidents missed by match officials.
