Allardyce extends Hammers deal

Sam Allardyce has agreed a new two-year contract with West Ham United.

Allardyce took charge of the Hammers in 2011 and led the club to promotion from the Championship via the play-offs, and has this season avoided relegation from the Premier League.

His contract had been due to expire in the summer, but West Ham co-owner David Gold announced on his Twitter account that an extension had been agreed.
