Brazil to patrol borders at Confed Cup

BRASILIA, Brazil -- Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff says security will be reinforced on the country's borders in preparation for the Confederations Cup in June.

She said on Tuesday that beginning in May "a grand military operation will cover our frontiers of nearly 10,000 miles to prevent crimes and improve security" for the World Cup warm-up tournament.
