Soriano hits 30th home run vs. Seattle

SEATTLE -- Alfonso Soriano became the only second baseman in major league history to post a 30-30 season when he homered in the seventh inning Saturday of the New York Yankees' game at Seattle.

Soriano's 30th homer also tied the Yankees' team record for home runs by a second baseman, set by Joe Gordon in 1940.

Earlier in the game, Soriano stole his AL-leading 34th base. His home run came against James Baldwin.
