Hooper fined $250 for celebration

ATLANTA -- Charmaine Hooper of the Atlanta Beat has been suspended one game and fined $250 for violating WUSA rules regarding endorsements.

After scoring a goal against the New York Power on June 9, Hooper lifted the front of her jersey in celebration, revealing a shirt which contained the logo of a sponsor.

"I was just celebrating the goal," Hooper told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
