Doyle dropped by text

Kevin Doyle is looking for an explanation from Giovanni Trapattoni after being dropped from the Republic of Ireland squad by text.

Doyle, who had been included in the preliminary 23-man squad, believes he deserved better than a simple message saying he was not required for the World Cup double header against Sweden and Austria.
