Davis' goal leads MetroStars to third straight win

DENVER -- Brad Davis scored the game-winning goal as the New York-New Jersey MetroStars beat the Colorado Rapids 2-1 Saturday night, despite playing a man down the last 33 minutes.

Davis scored on a pass by Rodrigo Faria after beating defenseman Rick Titus in the 78th minute. It was the MetroStars' third win in a row.

The goal came after Ross Paule was ejected in the 57th minute after receiving his second yellow card of the game.
