Carlos Tevez released on bail

MANCHESTER, England -- Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez faces a jail sentence after being arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified.

Cheshire Police said Friday a 29-year-old man was arrested after he was stopped on a road in Macclesfield, in northern England, on Thursday.

Tevez was banned from driving for six months on Jan. 16 after failing to respond to letters by police in relation to incidents where his car was recorded as speeding.
