Jill Loyden breaks hand in training

U.S. women's team goalkeeper Jill Loyden broke a bone in her left hand during training Thursday and will miss three months.

Loyden was injured while training with the team at the Algarve Cup. She will leave Portugal on Friday to consult with a hand specialist to determine if she will need surgery.

She broke a different bone in the same hand during U.S. women's training camp in January 2011.
