Davis' late strike gives Dynamo the edge

HOUSTON -- Brad Davis scored in the 89th minute to give the Houston Dynamo a 1-0 lead over Santos Laguna after the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal series Tuesday night.

The second leg of the quarterfinal series is March 13 at Estadio Corona in Torreon, Mexico, with the winner of the aggregate scoring going on to face the winner of the Tigres UANL-Seattle Sounders quarterfinal in the semifinal.
