Lazio to appeal European ban

Lazio are set to launch an appeal after being ordered to play their next two home European matches behind closed doors by UEFA.

The ban was enforced following crowd trouble during Lazio's Europa League last-32 match against Borussia Monchengladbach, during which fireworks were set off and there were allegations of racist behaviour.

Lazio were also fined €40,000 by UEFA's control and disciplinary committee, but Lazio president Claudio Lotito believes the punishment is unfair ...
