David Villa has been readmitted to hospital for observation due to further abdominal pain and is certain to miss Barcelona's La Liga game at Granada on Saturday, the club have confirmed.

Villa first entered hospital to deal with the problem on Monday, and had a kidney stone removed. The procedure appeared to have been a success and he had been due to return to training on Wednesday after leaving hospital.
