Robins confirmed as Huddersfield boss

Huddersfield Town have appointed Mark Robins as their new manager in succession to the sacked Simon Grayson.

Robins, 43, transformed the fortunes of Coventry City this season, lifting them from the lower reaches of League One to just outside the play-off places.

His departure after just five months has angered the Sky Blues but they were powerless to prevent him from talking to Huddersfield after the Championship club met the compensation figure within his contract.
