Lambert seen to join 100 club

Rickie Lambert said he will savour the feat of joining the select group of players to score 100 goals for Southampton if he finds the net against champions Manchester City on Saturday.

Lambert, 30, scored his 99th goal for the club in the 2-2 draw at Wigan, meaning he only needs one more to join Saints greats such as Mick Channon, Matt Le Tissier, Terry Paine, Ron Davies and Martin Chivers.
