Bills fill coordinator post with Gilbride

After exploring a number of candidates the Buffalo Bills have settled on a new offensive coordinator, hiring ESPN analyst Kevin Gilbride on Saturday to take over stewardship of the team's young unit.

An official announcement by Bills officials should come early next week.

Gilbride, 50, replaces Mike Sheppard, who was fired by head coach Gregg Williams after only one season. Sheppard on Friday was named as the New Orleans Saints new quarterbacks coach.
