Anzhi spends big to add Brazilian Willian

Anzhi Makhachkala has signed Brazil midfielder Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk for 35 million euros ($47.8 million).

The 24-year-old, who had been linked with a January move to Chelsea or Tottenham, has signed a "long-term deal," the Russian club said on its website.

Willian will join up with his new teammates at a training camp in Marbella on Saturday.
