Webster's knee injury slow to heal

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Cornerback Jason Webster missed his second straight practice on Thursday, becoming the latest potential problem on the San Francisco 49ers' banged-up defense.

Webster, who had three interceptions this season, has a bruised left knee that isn't healing as quickly as the 49ers hoped.

Ahmed Plummer, the 49ers' other second-year starting cornerback, has a right hip injury that's not expected to keep him out of Sunday's wild-card playoff game at Green ...
