Vilanova sticks up for Sanchez

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has leapt to the defence of Alexis Sanchez ahead of this weekend's Primera Division trip to Real Sociedad after the Chilean came in for criticism for a string of misses in last night's Copa del Rey stalemate with Malaga.

The reigning cup holders could only draw 2-2 with a Malaga side who were reduced to 10 men for the final 15 minutes of their quarter-final contest at the Nou Camp.
