Perry chooses soccer semi over T20 final

Dual international Ellyse Perry has put soccer ahead of cricket when confronted with a finals scheduling clash this weekend.

Sydney FC welcomed defender Perry's decision, after several days of consideration, to play for the Sky Blues in their W-League semi-final against Brisbane Roar in Brisbane on Saturday afternoon.

It means she misses playing for the dominant NSW Breakers in the interstate Twenty20 final against Western Fury in Perth on the same day.
