Galaxy give Keane multiyear extension

CARSON, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Galaxy announced a multiyear contract extension for forward Robbie Keane on Wednesday, extending the Irish national team captain's stay with the two-time Major League Soccer champions.

The Galaxy also signed midfielder Juninho to a multiyear deal after three seasons on loan from Brazilian club Sao Paulo.

Los Angeles didn't announce the length of Keane's deal, but Keane told Sky Sports earlier this month that he agreed to a two-year extension.
