Bayern Munich kept up their impressive form in preparation for the second half of the Bundesliga season by defeating Swiss champions Basel 3-0 in a friendly on Saturday.

Just days after beating Bundesliga rivals Schalke 5-0, goals from Mario Mandzukic, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Franck Ribery saw Bayern flexing their muscles once again in Switzerland as they improved on their 1-0 defeat at the St Jakob Park in the Champions League last season.
