Fukuda has inked a long-term deal

BRACKLEY, England -- Japan's Ryo Fukuda has signed a long-term test contract with British American Racing, the Formula One team announced.

Fukuda was French Formula Three champion in 2001, with seven wins in eight races, and replaces compatriot Takuma Sato, who won the British Formula Three title and will be making his Formula One debut with Jordan next season.
