Women's league allocates top players

FIFA women's player of the year Abby Wambach was allocated Friday to the Western New York Flash of the National Women's Soccer League. Wambach was one of 55 national team players from Canada, Mexico and the United States who were allocated.



With 23 U.S. players available for the allocation, all but one of the eight teams received three U.S. women's national team players. Goalie Hope Solo will play for Seattle and Alex Morgan for Portland.
