Covic signs on for Wanderers

Goalkeeper Ante Covic has signed on for another A-League season with surprise packets Western Sydney Wanderers.

The 37-year-old veteran has starred for the Wanderers in their debut season and said despite his age, it was an easy decision to commit to a new deal.

Covic was born in Sydney and the 193cm goalkeeper has been a major part of the equal best defence in the A-League this season.

The Wanderers have conceded only 10 goals in 13 matches.
