Brisbane down Adelaide in A-League

Brazilian forward Henrique breathed life into Brisbane's flagging A-League season with the match winner in a 1-0 away triumph against Adelaide United on Thursday night.

Henrique's 65th minute goal at Hindmarsh Stadium delivered Brisbane a fourth win of the season as second-placed Adelaide lost consecutive games.

The defending champions Roar rose from ninth to seventh on the ladder ahead of the remaining matches in the round.
