Posada stepping down as Fire president

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. -- The president of Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire is stepping down.

Chicago Fire owner Andrew Hauptman announced the departure of Julian Posada on Wednesday in a letter on the soccer team's website. Hauptman says the club won't replace Posada. He says Posada's duties will be taken over by other staff.
