Ajaccio boss Alex Dupont fired

Alex Dupont has been axed from his position as manager of French side Ajaccio, the club confirmed on Monday.

Dupont only joined Ajaccio from Brest this year, but was given his marching orders with L'Ours currently sitting just three points away from the relegation zone.

Ajaccio have managed just three wins in their last 15 games and management identified that Dupont is not the man to help the club rise above last season's 16th-place finish.
