Martinez reveals McCarthy injury concern

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez fears in-form midfielder James McCarthy has suffered a "terrible injury" after an off-the-ball challenge from Norwich's Bradley Johnson in his side's 2-1 defeat.



McCarthy, 22, has recently been linked with moves to Liverpool and Arsenal, but failed to emerge for the second half at Carrow Road after what Martinez described as a "brutal" challenge on his midfield starlet.
