Dodd brace sinks Jets in A-League

Perth midfielder Travis Dodd scored a brace and Shane Smeltz chipped in with a controversial goal to inspire Glory to a 3-0 A-League victory over the Newcastle Jets at nib Stadium on Friday night.

The Jets entered the match with a cloud hanging over their future after the Australian Tax Office applied to have both them and NRL outfit Newcastle Knights wound up due to unpaid debts.
