Ex-coach guilty of match-fixing

CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- The former manager of South Africa's national soccer team has been found guilty of trying to fix a league promotion playoff game in 2011.

The South African Football Association says Philemon Setshedi was convicted Friday on match-fixing charges in a commercial crimes court. His sentencing hearings begin in February.
