Glory A-League skipper to stay hard-nosed

He's already accumulated five yellow cards in as many games this A-League season but Perth Glory skipper Jacob Burns insists his form would suffer if he mellowed out.

Burns was forced to serve a mandatory one-match ban last week as Glory slumped to a 1-0 loss to Melbourne Victory.

The 34-year-old will return to action in Saturday night's clash with Melbourne Heart at AAMI Park, but he vowed on Thursday to stick by his hard-nosed approach.
